Kim Hendrickx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir Breckenfeld in the 3rd minute. Walmir Breckenfeld showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 12 played minutes Young Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho de Sousa. After 15 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Ali Dem. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Ødegaard in the 17th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitchel Dijkstra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Dem's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Young Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Dem came free, but Mitchel Dijkstra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Ødegaard in the 22nd minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitchel Dijkstra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Dem went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Walmir Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Sam Son shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitchel Dijkstra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Philippe-Arnaud Steenberghs got a free kick in the 38th minute. Walmir Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kim Hendrickx. Kim Hendrickx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Maciej Wielgopolski struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Kim Hendrickx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Young Benefica. Ali Dem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitchel Dijkstra having to interfere.

The wind increased when Ali Dem made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Wielgopolski in the 58th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Wielgopolski came free, but Kim Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
