Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claudinho Cearense made the kick off which started today's match. Claudinho Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Erasmo Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Claudinho Cearense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Brodel was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Célio Varela came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético de Blumenau's Tomás Turban. But to his dismay, Tomás Turban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Atlético de Blumenau's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Cearense came free, but Erasmo Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Cearense in the 21st minute of play forced Atlético de Blumenau's goalkeeper Erasmo Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Laerte Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Claudinho Cearense notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Atlético de Blumenau's Erasmo Brodel. Erasmo Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of BOA VISTA E.C. booed when Atlético de Blumenau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tatinha Tozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Atlético de Blumenau fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Atlético de Blumenau's Tomás Turban looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Cabral made a kick off. Erasmo Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Toscano in the 61st minute of play. Erasmo Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Tomás Turban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Célio Varela having to make a save. Célio Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Turban in the 65th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Tomás Turban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Célio Varela. BOA VISTA E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Turban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 77 minutes into the match, BOA VISTA E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Turban came free, but Célio Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Claudinho Cearense got a free kick in the 81st minute. Célio Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Cabral in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Tomás Turban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Célio Varela. BOA VISTA E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Turban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in BOA VISTA E.C.'s zone, Tomás Turban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Varela came out of the goal and Tomás Turban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético de Blumenau had won after a very even match.
