Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Rogério Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Carioca having to interfere. Acácio Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Chico Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Acácio Alves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Carioca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Jano Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MarquinhosEC's protests and gave Jano Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro de Souza having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Marques in the 44th minute of play forced S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Alessandro de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Marcos Boldrini managed to get in a good position for a shot. MarquinhosEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Boldrini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Machado in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Sampaio was the one to do the kick off. S.C.PAULISTA's Alessandro de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Boldrini in the 56th minute of play. Alessandro de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Boldrini in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alessandro de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Paulo de Medeiros hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Acácio Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C.PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, Cláudio Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C.PAULISTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MarquinhosEC the free kick. After a rather tough play, MarquinhosEC's Célio Matorin got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 82nd minute, Cláudio Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Boldrini to maneuver through the defense. If Marcos Boldrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When MarquinhosEC's Jonathan Marques in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.C.PAULISTA's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's Hamílton Reis got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of S.C.PAULISTA were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant MarquinhosEC side.
