Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudinho Almeida got the match started through his kick off. Luiz Fabiano Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Mota during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Jipa RO got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Mota. With his leg Luiz Fabiano Furtado managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Independente AC's Meti Gol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Olívio Félix's late challenge caught a Jipa RO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olívio Félix helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Independente AC got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Félix. Marcelo Paraibano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlindo Passos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Jipa RO's Luiz Fabiano Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Jipa RO from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Independente AC's Claudinho Almeida ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Fabiano Furtado. Luiz Fabiano Furtado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Meti Gol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fabiano Furtado came out and tried to block the shot, but Meti Gol slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Arlindo Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jipa RO's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlindo Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Paraibano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Passos in the 34th minute of play forced Independente AC's goalkeeper Marcelo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fabiano Furtado made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Meti Gol sent off a good shot on target. Claudinho Almeida took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fabiano Furtado. Luiz Fabiano Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Luiz Fabiano Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Meti Gol in the 40th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Meti Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Luiz Fabiano Furtado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Independente AC's Claudinho Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jipa RO's Luiz Fabiano Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Jipa RO from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

51 minutes into the match, Independente AC's Claudinho Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fabiano Furtado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Jipa RO's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Almeida came free, but Luiz Fabiano Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jardel Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meti Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Furtado having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edson Duarte during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Independente AC booed when Jipa RO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Luan Amorim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fabiano Furtado skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Meti Gol in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fabiano Furtado saved Jipa RO from getting behind. Luiz Fabiano Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Abelardo Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Jipa RO got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Fonseca. After 76 played minutes, Independente AC's Frédson Leme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Furtado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independente AC reached it. Luiz Fabiano Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Almeida went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The Independente AC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Independente AC's Claudinho Almeida looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 85 minutes of play, Independente AC's Meti Gol made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fabiano Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinho Almeida scored 8-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fabiano Furtado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Claudinho Almeida notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Jipa RO's Luiz Fabiano Furtado. Luiz Fabiano Furtado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Independente AC were the better team. Independente AC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
