Deivid Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Trancoso having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Zé Ortiz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fellipe Trancoso. Wiliam Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Trancoso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Ortiz in the 18th minute of play forced E.C. Galera's goalkeeper Fellipe Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, E.C. Galera's Evandro Loyola got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Fellipe Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fellipe Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Ortiz in the 26th minute of the match. Evandro Loyola came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wágner Vander could save by the left post. The corner led E.C. Galera's Fernando Queirós to fire away a dangerous shot which Wágner Vander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fellipe Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes of play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Zé Ortiz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fellipe Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 37 played minutes IGUIPORÃ FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Pernambucano. Fellipe Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Deivid Quadros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fellipe Trancoso. E.C. Galera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deivid Quadros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Deivid Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Ortiz to make the kick off. The supporters of E.C. Galera booed when IGUIPORÃ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fellipe Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Ortiz in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Evandro Loyola made a precise shot to the right of Wágner Vander. IGUIPORÃ FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. E.C. Galera's Fellipe Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save E.C. Galera from getting a goal against them. IGUIPORÃ FC's Tony Vale was substituted for Zé Augusto Brito. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Zé Ortiz got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Zé Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Fellipe Trancoso. E.C. Galera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Deivid Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. IGUIPORÃ FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
