Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elias Bastos started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Caio Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Gerber's late challenge caught a Werneck FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. Armando Gerber hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Júlio Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Bastos in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Elias Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cactos the free kick. In the 16th minute, Armando Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamim Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Gaspar having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Elias Bastos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Júlio Gaspar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Cactos booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Werneck FC - DMZ's Délio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Branco in the 26th minute of play. Júlio Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Bastos in the 29th minute of play. When Werneck FC - DMZ's Elias Bastos in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Geovanni Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Délio Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Lima in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Massa. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Délio Fantini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Werneck FC - DMZ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Caio Ceresso hit a great ball. Elias Bastos took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Gaspar. Júlio Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Jean Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Júlio Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Oséas Branco hit a great ball. Júlio Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cactos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Caetano Linares was slow to take the kick. During this time Werneck FC - DMZ's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Jean Donatello heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Caio Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Cactos's Hamílton Trigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Délio Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Délio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Trigo in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Caio Ceresso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Werneck FC - DMZ and the Cactos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Caio Ceresso. Cactos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Zézinho Fantini scored to the left of an out of position Júlio Gaspar, making the score, 1-6. Elias Bastos scored 1-7 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Gaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Werneck FC - DMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cactos throughout the match.
