Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafu Filho in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitório Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Mazinho Ferraz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitório Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristóvão Mendonças short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Osvaldo Abraão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dráusio Gomes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rupert Dearden during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rupert Dearden hit a great ball. The supporters of AF GuiFiguer OUT!! booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in AF GuiFiguer OUT!! fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Vitório Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Coelho in the 40th minute of play forced AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s goalkeeper Vitório Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sagarana Clube fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Sagarana Clube's Noel Coelho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cafu Filho hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaká Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Kaká Rosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vitório Andrade came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaká Rosa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 51st minute. Vitório Andrade was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Kaká Rosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kaká Rosa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After 57 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Noel Coelho. In the 62nd minute, Sagarana Clube's Noel Coelho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitório Andrade. Vitório Andrade yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Noel Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Juvenal Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitório Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sagarana Clube's Noel Coelho got a free kick in the 94th minute. Sagarana Clube played a much better game than AF GuiFiguer OUT!! and deserved their victory. The AF GuiFiguer OUT!! players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
