MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Hermes to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Sidnei Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rômulo Souto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when WAU team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Freitas in the 61st minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper Rômulo Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perivaldo Donato's late challenge caught a WAU team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perivaldo Donato helped the player get up and apologised. Rômulo Souto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jefferson Massa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 67 minute of play. Jefferson Massa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Rômulo Souto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dráusio Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Luz in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gil Meira hit a great ball. Jefferson Massa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rômulo Souto firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th minute, WAU team's Sidnei Pereira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei Pereira got free with Rômulo Souto in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save MUSHIBA FC from getting a goal against them. The MUSHIBA FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. WAU team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
