After 6 minutes, Dinei Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casa Real de Savóia F.C. and the Vila Zumbi - Férias players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magno Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th match minute, Casa Real de Savóia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Marinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Elano Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Veiga in the 16th minute of play. If Vítor da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanildo Mendi came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Adriano Tande. But to his dismay, Adriano Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magno Moreira. The audience was convinced that Elano Coutinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emerson Leão was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Rafael Veiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Geovanildo Mendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Smith in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi - Férias's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Smith came free, but Geovanildo Mendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Robert Smith had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovanildo Mendi. Vila Zumbi - Férias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Smith was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi got control of the ball when Robert Smith tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi - Férias's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Veiga came free, but Geovanildo Mendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Geovanildo Mendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Smith in the 93rd minute. Geovanildo Mendi was a little too slow when Rafael Veiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-6.
