An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Veiga in the 4th minute of play forced ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s goalkeeper Adhemar Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Rafael Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Adhemar Souto threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robert Smith, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Urbano in the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Veiga came free, but Adhemar Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Adhemar Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Tande in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Pedro Luiz de Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ and the Casa Real de Savóia F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Robert Smith in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s corner Ricky Marinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adhemar Souto quite easily take care of the ball. Adhemar Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Smith in the 70th minute of play. Robert Smith scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adhemar Souto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Adhemar Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Smith in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ booed when Casa Real de Savóia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emerson Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Váldson Urbano in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Schmidt came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Giovani Travassos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emerson Leão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 80th match minute, Casa Real de Savóia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Telo to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Henrique França seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Henrique França the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Henrique França had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Casa Real de Savóia F.C.:s goal. Adhemar Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th match minute, Casa Real de Savóia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Marinho to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Emerson Leão got control of the ball when Cesinha Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Urbano in the 97th minute of play.
