Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Marquês de Herval's Bato Gol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bato Gol got free with Ian Abraão in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 4 played minutes Planet Caravan got a freekick which was hit by Percy Velloso. Igor Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Planet Caravan's goalkeeper Ian Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Zé Roberto Orange fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ian Abraão, passed just outside the right post. Marquês de Herval's Oscar Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Chulapa in the 10th minute of play. When Fiori Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Planet Caravan's protests and gave Fiori Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Planet Caravan got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Palmeira. Planet Caravan's Ian Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Planet Caravan from getting a goal against them. Oscar Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Chulapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Planet Caravan's goal looked a bit too open when Bato Gol came free, but Ian Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Adriano do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Carlos Eduardo Martins sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Abraão skillfully saved the ball. Oscar Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Cardoso in the 22nd minute of play. Marquês de Herval's Oscar Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Cardoso in the 22nd minute of play. Bato Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Abraão having to make a save. Planet Caravan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serginho Chulapa in the 36th minute. The corner ended in Serginho Chulapa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marquês de Herval's Oscar Freire did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Planet Caravan's zone, Oscar Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Abraão came out of the goal and Oscar Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Cardoso in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serginho Chulapa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Waldir Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Oscar Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bato Gol in the 61st minute of play forced Planet Caravan's goalkeeper Ian Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Bato Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marquês de Herval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bato Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Rabelo. After 75 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Oscar Magalhães made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Abraão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Magalhães hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Marquês de Herval's Davi Cearense got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ian Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bato Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Abraão having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Cardoso in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Cardoso got free with Oscar Freire in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Roberto Orange kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Marquês de Herval players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
