In the 3rd minute of the match, Márcio Cruz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simão Cunha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artur Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior de Alcântara in the 14th minute of the match. Márcio Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Lopes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival Barral got free with Simão Cunha in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Braga in the 25th minute of the match. Luisinho Cardozo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Recife. Artur Recife dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Hudson Amorim got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Luizão Loureiro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atlético-PR's Artur Recife. Artur Recife was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

After a rather tough play, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Júnior de Alcântara got a free kick in the 54th minute. When ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Luizão Loureiro in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético-PR's goalie prevented a goal. The corner was taken by Luizão Loureiro in the 62nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Luizão Loureiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Artur Recife quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Artur Recife stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedito Braga's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Samuel de Souza's late challenge caught a ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ booed when Atlético-PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Atlético-PR's Artur Recife got control of the ball when Luizão Loureiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Atlético-PR getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Márcio Cruz hit a great ball. Artur Recife made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisinho Cardozo in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute Márcio Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráuzio Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Cunha having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Atlético-PR's Artur Recife proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético-PR from getting a goal against them. The Atlético-PR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s performance. The match ended with a win for ♞Sir Galahad FC♞.
