Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Xiboquinha FC's Tiquinho Soares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dibag Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Adrian Mutu made a precise shot to the right of Dibag Martinez. Braga Junior FC's Brickeen Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Leite in the 9th minute of play. Dibag Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Mutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Braga Junior FC were awarded a corner. Tomasz Waldoch went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Maciel in the 18th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Moreno was slow to take the kick. During this time Xiboquinha FC's players had a chance to rest. 41 minutes into the game, Braga Junior FC's Dinei Sergipano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dibag Martinez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Téo Maciel to strike the kick off in the second half. Brickeen Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Braga Junior FC played a much better game than Xiboquinha FC and deserved their victory. The Xiboquinha FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
