Guto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7thth minute of the game Boguslaw Golaszewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GeRaÇãO-83's Guto Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 11th minute of play. Guto Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 13th minute. Hernani Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Centurión. Hernani Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Couto in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Jataiense Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sven-Olof Kihlman hit a great ball. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Guto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Cheng Yao in the 39th minute of play. Guto Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 44th minute. If Rafa Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Didi Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boguslaw Golaszewski to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Messias to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, GeRaÇãO-83's Didi Couto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 66th match minute, GeRaÇãO-83 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Couto to maneuver through the defense. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Candido Urbes was substituted for Rafa Mandrak. GeRaÇãO-83's Robinho Freire was substituted for Ren Jie Fan. Didi Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Carl Ancelotti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Hernani Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hernani Messias came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by GeRaÇãO-83's Carl Ancelotti. But to his dismay, Carl Ancelotti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 84 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Robinho Freire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jata Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Hernani Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robinho Freire in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Carl Ancelotti managed to get in a good position for a shot. GeRaÇãO-83's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Ancelotti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egídio Araújo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GeRaÇãO-83 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
