The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C.A Wanderer´s's Gaspar Heriberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Merexildo in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Pueblo in the 4th minute of play forced C.A Wanderer´s's goalkeeper Gaspar Heriberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gaspar Heriberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cristo Pueblo sped through C.A Wanderer´s's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaspar Heriberto. In the 13thth minute of the game Cristo Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Wanderer´s's Gaspar Heriberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bernardo Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Administrativo Sport Club fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Administrativo Sport Club's Cristo Pueblo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 18 minutes, Cristo Pueblo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. C.A Wanderer´s's Gaspar Heriberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristo Pueblo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Gaspar Heriberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Administrativo Sport Club. After 27 minutes, Alfonso Sauveur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A Wanderer´s and the Administrativo Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the match, Administrativo Sport Club's goalkeeper Primitivo Firme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Honrio. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Wanderer´s's zone, Cristo Pueblo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Heriberto came out of the goal and Cristo Pueblo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Merexildo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gaspar Heriberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Administrativo Sport Club. 35 minutes into the game, Administrativo Sport Club's Cristo Pueblo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Heriberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The audience was convinced that Cristo Pueblo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Heriberto was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Gaspar Heriberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Honrio during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Honrio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Gaspar Heriberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Calvino to make the kick off. Federico Hustaz charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Hustaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C.A Wanderer´s getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Federico Hustaz hit a great ball. After 56th play minutes Cristo Pueblo shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Gaspar Heriberto and just under the crossbar into goal. After 58 played minutes Administrativo Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Cambranes. The audience was convinced that Cristo Pueblo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Heriberto was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Aldo Isusko kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Pueblo in the 62nd minute of play forced C.A Wanderer´s's goalkeeper Gaspar Heriberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Pueblo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Gaspar Heriberto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gerardo Lehior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gaspar Heriberto made a huge save. In the 70th minute Cristo Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Heriberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Gerardo Lehior notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of C.A Wanderer´s's Gaspar Heriberto. Gaspar Heriberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Gerardo Lehior ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Heriberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. In the 83rd minute Cristo Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Heriberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Pueblos short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Gaspar Heriberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gaspar Heriberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gaspar Heriberto came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Administrativo Sport Club's Cristo Pueblo. But to his dismay, Cristo Pueblo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Cristo Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Heriberto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Pueblo in the 95th minute of play forced C.A Wanderer´s's goalkeeper Gaspar Heriberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Teofilo Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Administrativo Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Cambranes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Heriberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Administrativo Sport Club played a much better game than C.A Wanderer´s and deserved their victory. The C.A Wanderer´s players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
