Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Zeledon Cloyo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rosendo Medero hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Cloyo got free with Alberto Sotero in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Domingo Olando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo de Mar del fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Libertad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Chumo to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Libertad FC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Medero. Jonas Fortun hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Pascual Montxo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 17th playminute. After a rather tough play, Libertad FC's Teodosio Chumo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Wilfredo Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Manuel Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Benitez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Olando went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Libertad FC booed when San Lorenzo de Mar del was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Olando to make the kick off. Manuel Benitez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Olando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Wilfredo Clodio's late challenge caught a Libertad FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Libertad FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Domingo Olando scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Benitez, making the score, 2-6. Alberto Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Cloyo in the 70th minute of play. Manuel Benitez was a little too slow when Domingo Olando got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 2-7. After some careless play in the Libertad FC defense, Domingo Olando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Benitez. The Libertad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Benitez should have stopped the shot. In the last second Manuel Benitez throw himself and got hold of the ball when Domingo Olando in the 84thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. San Lorenzo de Mar del were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Libertad FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albino Millano took the corner. Zeledon Cloyo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Sotero. Alberto Sotero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-9.
