The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Silban got free with Patricio Nofre in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Silban in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brown Puerto Madryn's Danilo Urbez got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute, LARRY FC's Evaristo Clemencin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evaristo Clemencin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LARRY FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evaristo Clemencin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Danilo Urbez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brown Puerto Madryn's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Urbez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Nofre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Freddy Silban sped through LARRY FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patricio Nofre. The supporters of LARRY FC booed when Brown Puerto Madryn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, LARRY FC's Arnulfo Paz got a free kick in the 46th minute.
