Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Cedro in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, LOS MENTI's Generoso Poncio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luis Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Pacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Gartzea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Stanislao went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of LOS MENTI booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position.
