Bengt-Arne Åberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Iza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Generoso Gonzalez was a little too slow when Oscar Iyan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-3. Roman Iza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After 41 minutes of play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Bengt-Arne Åberg made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Iza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Generoso Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Iyan in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Iyan to make the kick off. Bengt-Arne Åberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Iza having to make a save. Roman Iza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 85th minute of play. When Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The match ended with a win for Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka.
