The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Segundo Francia lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 5th minute, one of Caballeritos del Baile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caballeritos del Baile. In the 7th minute, Anier Beliran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loco Cabezon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ladislao Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Frisco Gómez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Luisito Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Gaizkine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th match minute, Loco Cabezon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Enol to maneuver through the defense. Anier Beliran hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Ur to make the kick off. Victor Bakar struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gabriel Beturian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballeritos del Baile. Caballeritos del Baile's Frisco Gómez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Ur in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Bakar in the 62nd minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Gabriel Beturian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frisco Gómez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Urre, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to Loco Cabezon getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Anier Beliran hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Bakar got free with Gabriel Beturian in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Victor Bakar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Bakar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Beturian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Beturian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Bakar went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Gabriel Beturian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Cabezon were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Caballeritos del Baile to leave the ground with a draw.
