La Cosa Nostra's Mauricio Min quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Jose Lleir got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Margarito Lila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Jose Lleir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Garcia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Generoso Breogan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Min to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Louis to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Emmanuel during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes C.A. Damian Nabar scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Pacorro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39thth minute of the game Everardo Regis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Javier Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Javier Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Regis in the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Lorenzo Rico hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Regis to strike the kick off in the second half. Javier Garcia came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Cosa Nostra's Everardo Regis. But to his dismay, Everardo Regis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 66th match minute, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Beliran to maneuver through the defense. When Tadeo Fidencio fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Cosa Nostra's protests and gave Tadeo Fidencio a yellow card for diving instead. Tadeo Fidencio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Everardo Regis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Javier Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 played minutes C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA got a freekick which was hit by Omar Beliran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Nabar in the 85th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Casimiro Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's zone, Everardo Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Garcia came out of the goal and Everardo Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
