The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niceto Gaizkine during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Los Hornos made a substitution. Feliciano Loramendi replaced Nemesio Constancio. Paulo Opilano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gualterio Nazario fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hornos's protests and gave Gualterio Nazario a yellow card for diving instead. Gualterio Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Estación Q. booed when Los Hornos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estación Q.'s Arnaldo Cresitobalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Opilano in the 32nd minute of play. Florentino Elivareo charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Elivareo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Los Hornos got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Elivareo. Juan Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Cresitobalo having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, Los Hornos's Justino Feliz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Cresitobalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute of the match Los Hornos got a corner. Estación Q.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justino Feliz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Estación Q.'s Arnaldo Cresitobalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Feliz in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Lucian to make the kick off. Everardo Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Locaio in the 50th minute of play. In the 57th minute Paulo Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Cresitobalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estación Q.'s players were relieved. Everardo Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Locaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Los Hornos got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Loramendi. Israel Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Lucian in the 71st minute of play forced Los Hornos's goalkeeper Everardo Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Cresitobalo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Justino Feliz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 76 minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Celestino Dolfos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Urtsin charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Urtsin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Hornos booed when Estación Q. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Cresitobalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Feliz in the 92nd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Hornos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
