Ciro Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Sabino in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Elia came free, but Ciro Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Gabrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Hilario Sabino hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Sixto Belasko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Pacorro skillfully saved the ball. Ciro Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Sabino in the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Hulberto in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Pacorro saved TALLERES DE CBA from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Cristobal Hulberto put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alejo Pacorro. In the 24th minute Hilario Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Elia in the 25th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Ciro Gombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Hilario Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TALLERES DE CBA's Alejo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Petrigai in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Deportivo Balvanera's Jimeno Oxel was substituted for Florentino Petrigai. In the 52nd match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Dayam to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Victoriano Quintin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Pacorro skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute, Bonifacio Txerran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciro Gombal. The goal made the score 1-2. Jimeno Oxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alejo Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, TALLERES DE CBA's Ciro Gombal threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hilario Sabino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ciro Gombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Txerran in the 73rd minute. Higinio Bastiaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciro Gombal came out and tried to block the shot, but Higinio Bastiaro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 74th minute. Sixto Belasko might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejo Pacorro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Belasko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute Sixto Belasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejo Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Gombal having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Hilario Sabino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TALLERES DE CBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Ciro Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Elia in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Marciano Koldobika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Gombal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Higinio Bastiaro. TALLERES DE CBA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
