A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by Nicolás Valentini with Eriberto Berger as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Berger in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Internet XAire's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Belo came free, but Antonio Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Iruinea might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Canal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Iruinea ran back to his position shaking his head. Internet XAire's Antonio Canal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Iruinea in the 33rd minute of play. Antonio Canal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Romero went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Belo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Casimiro Romero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eriberto Berger in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Internet XAire's Domingo Urki was substituted for Modesto Fernendo. In the 67th minute, Nicolás Valentini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nacho Villarroel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Estevon charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernan Estevon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Internet XAire booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Estevon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zuberbühler FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
