Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jude Cruz got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Manuel Guilisasti in the 4th minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Ted Lasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amato Heyboer came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional Pechofrío's Roger Bannister. But to his dismay, Roger Bannister quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Bannister in the 9th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Amato Heyboer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Jose Manuel Guilisasti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CRUZ DEL SUR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internacional Pechofrío the free kick. In the 12th match minute, CRUZ DEL SUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manuel Guilisasti to maneuver through the defense. Ted Lasso made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jude Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ted Lasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Manuel Guilisasti came free, but Ted Lasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes, Manoel Esparza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internacional Pechofrío and the CRUZ DEL SUR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Internacional Pechofrío was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Esparza to maneuver through the defense. Internacional Pechofrío's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Belmiro Peñaranda scored to the left of an out of position Ted Lasso, making the score, 1-1. Amato Heyboer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Bannister to make the kick off. Amato Heyboer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Bannister in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Belmiro Peñaranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Peñaranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Lasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blanco Larreta's late challenge caught a Internacional Pechofrío's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blanco Larreta helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Blanco Larreta hit a great ball. Roger Bannister scored 1-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amato Heyboer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Jose Manuel Guilisasti put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ted Lasso. Internacional Pechofrío succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though CRUZ DEL SUR had controlled the match.
