Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Paredes in the 27th minute of play. Victoro Argos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Bahiano Caballeria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Igor Zaworski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Alberto Villa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Zaworski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Carlos Alberto Villa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Zaworski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Ortegano from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the game, Yeray Necochea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bahiano Caballeria. Yeray Necochea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Deportivo Ortegano made a substitution. Ronald Vordenbäumen replaced Socorro Chavez. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Paredes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Abundio Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahiano Caballeria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Paredes in the 54th minute of play. If Ronald Vordenbäumen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Vordenbäumen in the 67th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Villa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when John Apelkvist in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Victor Hugo Painevilu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Talcampeón FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tito Waiben in the 82nd minute. The corner ended in Tito Waiben almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria did a great save. After some careless play in the Talcampeón FC defense, Ronald Vordenbäumen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Alberto Villa. The Talcampeón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Alberto Villa should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yeray Necochea in the 87th minute of play. Victoro Argos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Paredes came free, but Bahiano Caballeria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talcampeón FC were furious when Damario Ferrada was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 99th minute Ronald Vordenbäumen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Villa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
