An unexpectedly hard shot by Meder Abeita in the 15th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Jude Vang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jude Vang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meder Abeita in the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Lopez in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernández Ermua saved Chuquisaca from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Lopez in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernández Ermua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Vicemte Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Chuquisaca's goal looked a bit too open when Kareem Gregory came free, but Hernández Ermua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Domingo Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuquisaca's Hernández Ermua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The El Canalla de Chicago fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when El Canalla de Chicago's Domingo Lopez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pirmin Abancens to make the kick off.
