The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, 『盛世メ名門』鹏城威水哥FC's 叶坤威 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braedan Shorten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 倪昂镇 hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Braedan Shorten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 叶坤威, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, 叶坤威 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 叶坤威's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braedan Shorten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Larry Baba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 潘辰昂 came out and tried to block the shot, but Larry Baba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, 『盛世メ名門』鹏城威水哥FC's 倪昂镇 got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Australian Youth Academy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 『盛世メ名門』鹏城威水哥FC throughout the match.
