The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Tuan came free, but Handoko Wardhana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Begu Ganjang's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kelik Samiaji in the 12th minute. The corner led to Begu Ganjang's Dudan Kuncoro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dudan Kuncoro during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Begu Ganjang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudan Kuncoro to maneuver through the defense. Gara Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dewa Sundal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, NFH Family United's Gara Chan got control of the ball when Dewa Sundal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Begu Ganjang's Tri Pradnyana got a free kick in the 28th minute. Sajeev Mathews was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Dale Tuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. NFH Family United's supporters rose to their feet, but Dale Tuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Handoko Wardhana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Handoko Wardhana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firdauz Choy in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goal looked a bit too open when Dewa Sundal came free, but Gara Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Firdauz Choy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Handoko Wardhana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, NFH Family United's Sarb Chuan got a free kick in the 45th minute. Gara Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dewa Sundal, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dale Tuan made a kick off. When Dewa Sundal came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Begu Ganjang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dewa Sundal couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Dewa Sundal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gara Chan was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. A collision led to NFH Family United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Merlin Braddell hit a great ball. Begu Ganjang's Dewa Sundal got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sajeev Mathews hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Firdauz Choy hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Kelik Samiaji shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gara Chan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dewa Laut hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, Begu Ganjang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bandit Baek to maneuver through the defense. Sajeev Mathews struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Handoko Wardhana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NFH Family United. In the 85th match minute, Begu Ganjang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudan Kuncoro to maneuver through the defense. Clive Dryburgh made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sean Soon immediately put the ball in play.
