Akil Taşboğa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rıfkı Süvari in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arif Erva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Nevşehirspor's Işıkalp Tansan got control of the ball when Refik Özerkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refik Özerkin in the 33rd minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Işıkalp Tansan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s Refik Özerkin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Işıkalp Tansan. That made the score 2-1 after 47 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Refik Özerkin to make the kick off. Rıfkı Süvari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Erva having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Refik Özerkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Işıkalp Tansan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
