Nicklas Koch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Eric Fredriksson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Eric Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicklas Koch. 27 minutes into the match, Guldhedstornet BK's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Volberg came free, but Eric Ekman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Nils Asklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Ekman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Balders Hage IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Dahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Nicklas Koch took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Eric Fredriksson to make any attempt to save it. Eric Ekman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Sigvard Brask left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balders Hage IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicklas Koch made a kick off. Sigvard Brask could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Eric Ekman made a huge save. Eric Ekman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ove Lundgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 57 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Balders Hage IF's Sigvard Brask slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eric Ekman. That made the score 1-6 after 63 minutes of play. In the 66th minute, Timmy Rönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Sigvard Brask made a precise shot to the right of Eric Ekman. Guldhedstornet BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. In the 77th match minute, Balders Hage IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Zerde to maneuver through the defense. Alf Felin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sigvard Brask came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Balders Hage IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigvard Brask couldn't finish the play. Stig-Arne Lind's late challenge caught a Balders Hage IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Arne Lind helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Stig-Arne Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Nils Asklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Ekman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. The Guldhedstornet BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Balders Hage IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
