Milan's Eduard Micineanu got a free kick in the 16th minute. Radu Cucerzan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horea Berca went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, A.C. Milan's Mihnea Bogătean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Radu Cucerzan. Radu Cucerzan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. Milan's goalkeeper Cristian Voican, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Prophets's zone, Mihnea Bogătean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Cucerzan came out of the goal and Mihnea Bogătean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horea Berca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Radu Cucerzan made a huge save. After some careless play in the A.C. Milan defense, Dumitru Tolea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Voican. The A.C. Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Voican should have stopped the shot.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Micineanu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radu Cucerzan saved Dark Prophets from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Bogătean in the 53rd minute of play forced Dark Prophets's goalkeeper Radu Cucerzan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Cucerzan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Micineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Eduard Micineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Cucerzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Mihnea Bogătean notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Dark Prophets's Radu Cucerzan. Radu Cucerzan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dark Prophets's Radu Cucerzan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Bogătean in the 71st minute of play. Mihnea Bogătean scored 6-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radu Cucerzan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to A.C.
