After 3 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Emil Rădoi. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Rădoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Condrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Irod was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Ţopescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Sebastian Condrea put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Petre Irod. In the 16th minute Emil Rădoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Hogaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Rădoi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Hogaș when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 28 minutes, Cristi Ipate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delphine Stars and the Rasnita players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Delphine Stars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rasnita:s goal. Delphine Stars:s Petre Irod showed great skill when he stopped Sabin Mihuț:s penalty. Delphine Stars's Petre Irod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Condrea in the 30th minute of play. Romeo Lupescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Petre Irod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Sebastian Condrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Irod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iosif Doicaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Rădoi made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Condrea in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petre Irod saved Delphine Stars from getting behind. Manuel Hogaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Istrate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vali Ivăncioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Petre Irod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Vali Ivăncioiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rasnita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delphine Stars the free kick. Sebastian Condrea scored 0-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petre Irod, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute Sebastian Condrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Irod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match Cristi Ipate sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Hogaș skillfully saved the ball. Sebastian Condrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Delphine Stars booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Ivăncioiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Istrate in the 94th minute of play. Rasnita played a much better game than Delphine Stars and deserved their victory. The Delphine Stars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
