Gigel Zăvoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 9th minute of the match. Ernest Zburlea made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MasterBets's Vlad Tudor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Pintilie in the 15th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Damian Arjoca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.BARLAD's zone, Cristian Pintilie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Arjoca came out of the goal and Cristian Pintilie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Moculescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damian Arjoca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 28 minutes of play, MasterBets's Cristian Pintilie made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Arjoca was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 34 played minutes MasterBets got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Puișoru. MasterBets's Gigel Zăvoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Pârlea in the 40th minute of play. When Daniel Bacalbașa fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.BARLAD's protests and gave Daniel Bacalbașa a yellow card for diving instead. If Cristian Pintilie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damian Arjoca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Pintilie in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nichifor Codruț made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Pintilie came free, but Damian Arjoca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MasterBets's Gigel Zăvoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Paul Irod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Zăvoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C.BARLAD's Damian Arjoca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.BARLAD from getting a goal against them. With 67 minutes on the clock, Vintilă Puișoru commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of MasterBets:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F.C.BARLAD:s goal. Cristian Pintilie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Damian Arjoca made a huge save. Eusebiu Moculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Arjoca was a little too slow when Cristian Pintilie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. F.C.BARLAD's Damian Arjoca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.BARLAD from getting a goal against them. Paul Irod took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigel Zăvoiu. Gigel Zăvoiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 91st minute Cristian Pintilie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Arjoca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Pintilie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of MasterBets echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as F.C.BARLAD had held the ball for most of the match.
