Ilie Niculcea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Dragoş Braniște took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Cenușă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avram Panait came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Leontin Boroș. But to his dismay, Leontin Boroș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bogdan Bărbătescu charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Bărbătescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bogdan Bărbătescu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to Muget getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sandu Cenușă hit a great ball. In the 40th match minute, LIVIUS UNITED MLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Corvin to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Dragoş Braniște, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Dragoş Braniște got control of the ball when Leontin Cenușă tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
