The audience thought a goal was coming when Korneliusz Barna got free with Codrin Beraru in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes in the game Adrian Isăilă did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Korneliusz Barna. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panait Marghescu to make the kick off. The supporters of Paralia Athens booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Isăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Codrin Beraru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Filip Iorgovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Emilian Mateianu hit a great ball. Flavio Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Arseni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Panait Marghescu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Paralia Athens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panait Marghescu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 91 minutes, Xerxes Doro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xerxes Doro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Isăilă made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paralia Athens's Silviu Filimon. In the 94th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Potocianu to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Paralia Athens eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
