Cato Onstad's late challenge caught a Monks in Robes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bøje Dyssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Løset in the 17th minute of the match. Suleskard's Adrian Grøndahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Suleskard from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Fredrik Molland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bøje Dyssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Macho Man hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The corner ended in Edward Pracki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Suleskard's Adrian Grøndahl did a great save. Frode Numelin scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Grøndahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Løset in the 62nd minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Grøndahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sune Heidal's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Arthur Løset could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bøje Dyssen made a huge save. Suleskard were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Monks in Robes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jamal Higgins took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Arthur Løset got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 70 minutes into the match.
