The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Nioblias during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vaggelis Pantelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Quesada in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Filippos Kopelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GREEN LIONS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Gerasimos Vasilarakos got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippos Koutsokefalakis in the 37th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Patrice Sénéchal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatios Papachronakis in the 39th minute of play. Patrice Sénéchal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignatios Papachronakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Henri Quesada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, GREEN LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aggelos Karageorgopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Filippos Koutsokefalakis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippos Kopelis in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrice Sénéchal saved Saint Côme de Fresné from getting behind. Patrice Sénéchal made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Ignatios Papachronakis sent off a good shot on target. After 78 played minutes GREEN LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Filippos Koutsokefalakis. Ignatios Papachronakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patrice Sénéchal came out and tried to block the shot, but Ignatios Papachronakis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Filippos Koutsokefalakis notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal. Patrice Sénéchal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrice Sénéchal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippos Koutsokefalakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. GREEN LIONS were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Saint Côme de Fresné's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filippos Kopelis took the corner. GREEN LIONS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
