After 5 minutes, Felix Ré mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosa nostra Lyon and the Savicevic Show players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Comunardo Taddeo saved Savicevic Show from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, one of Savicevic Show:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Comunardo Taddeo had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Eymeric Azoulay's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 19th minute, Felix Ré hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosa nostra Lyon's Eymeric Azoulay managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ermanno Bergamini in the 21 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Savicevic Show defense, Felix Ré kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Comunardo Taddeo. The Savicevic Show fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Comunardo Taddeo should have stopped the shot. Comunardo Taddeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosa nostra Lyon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrea Nicolini during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Savicevic Show was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Nicolini to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Savicevic Show's Ferdinando Benedetti got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute of the game Ermanno Bergamini made a throw-in which Bruno Epifani played forward. Savicevic Show's Comunardo Taddeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Cesare Di Massimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Epifani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesare Di Massimo to make the kick off. Cyril Reynal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Felix Ré. Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Comunardo Taddeo came out and tried to block the shot, but Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 54th minute. The supporters of Savicevic Show booed when Cosa nostra Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Ré didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clément Burnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Di Massimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cesare Di Massimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savicevic Show's Fabiano Puce got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 73 in the game by Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu from a close distance when the talented Comunardo Taddeo managed to make a qualified save. Savicevic Show's players were relieved. If Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes in the game Ermanno Bergamini did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bruno Epifani. Cosa nostra Lyon's Eymeric Azoulay managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ermanno Bergamini in the 86 minute of the game. 87 minutes into the game, Pierre-Louis Dubourdieu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosa nostra Lyon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Savicevic Show the free kick.
