If Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rufino Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Vasco Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julen Solera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute Gorka Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Deportivo O IRIXO booed when Razeus Uηited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Gorka Dominguez. Claudio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Espinosa in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Rufino Rojas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Razeus Uηited's Vasco Ferro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Razeus Uηited's zone, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Ferro came out of the goal and Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasco Ferro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufino Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Razeus Uηited got a freekick which was hit by Israel Trigueiro. Anaia Gene struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Vasco Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo O IRIXO. After a defensive mix-up in Razeus Uηited's zone, Julen Solera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Ferro came out of the goal and Julen Solera tried to chip the ball over his head. Claudio Aznar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseu Espinosa went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Rufino Rojas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vasco Ferro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Rufino Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Anaia Gene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anaia Gene was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Club Deportivo O IRIXO were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rufino Rojas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Igor Oliveira put in a rough tackle. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Razeus Uηited! The referee gave Club Deportivo O IRIXO a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anaia Gene, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Razeus Uηited's Vasco Ferro. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Razeus Uηited's Lourenço Reis got a free kick in the 56th minute. Gorka Dominguez struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Vasco Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo O IRIXO. In the 61st match minute, Razeus Uηited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Vasco Ferro was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Gorka Dominguez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gorka Dominguez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. A hard, long distance shot from Anaia Gene flew over the goal. Vasco Ferro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rufino Rojas went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Julen Solera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xan Casillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A long shot from Anaia Gene in the 82nd minute of play was well struck, but Vasco Ferro made a really good save at the right post. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Claudio Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Reis in the 83rd minute of play. When Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Club Deportivo O IRIXO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez couldn't finish the play. After 95 minutes, Ilídio Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Razeus Uηited and the Club Deportivo O IRIXO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Ilídio Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasco Ferro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Club Deportivo O IRIXO played a much better game than Razeus Uηited and deserved their victory. The Razeus Uηited players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
