Theo Tevreden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waut Limpens having to interfere. The supporters of Three Towers United booed when PSV Eindhoven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Tevreden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Three Towers United's Johan Vloeberghs got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 24 in the game by Laurens De Ceuster from a close distance when the talented Alwin Baatenburg managed to make a qualified save. PSV Eindhoven's players were relieved. Theo Tevreden charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theo Tevreden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Three Towers United's supporters rose to their feet, but Roderik Huyterhoeven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alwin Baatenburg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luka Uijtterhoeven who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Alwin Baatenburg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 43 minutes of play, PSV Eindhoven's Theo Tevreden made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waut Limpens was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied.
