Miroslav Kočka shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Slobodan Horoz's late challenge caught a Moneyball's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Slobodan Horoz helped the player get up and apologised. Slobodan Horoz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Moneyball's Antonín Čáslavský sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Đuro Brezović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonín Čáslavský charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonín Čáslavský the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonín Čáslavský in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Đuro Brezović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Moneyball booed when Gondor FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slobodan Horoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Josef Matuška hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Slobodan Horoz in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Moneyball's Stefan Turek. In the 45th minute Antonín Čáslavský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đuro Brezović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Moneyball made a substitution. Ivan Litera replaced James Gordon. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Gondor FC™'s King Thorin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Werner Volný. That made the score 1-1 after 73 minutes of play. Gondor FC™'s Husein Bilalović was substituted for Todor Kožica. Gondor FC™'s Đuro Brezović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Black Pearl in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Black Pearl in the 78th minute of play forced Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper Đuro Brezović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Werner Volný took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Šećer Pejović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamid Hamedović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Werner Volný tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
