Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) S.C.PAULISTA's Acácio Alves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alessandro de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhon Rabelo in the 5th minute of play. Rogério Sampaio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. S.C.PAULISTA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Acácio Alves took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Luiz Fernando Souza to make any attempt to save it. Dé Melo's late challenge caught a S.C.PAULISTA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé Melo helped the player get up and apologised. Dé Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Rogério Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 20 played minutes U18 Cruzeiro got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Coelho. In the 25th play minute Rogério Sampaio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Fernando Souza. 2-0. In the 31st minute, U18 Cruzeiro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Acácio Alves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Alves in the 32nd minute of play forced U18 Cruzeiro's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, U18 Cruzeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Abreu to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, José Pedro Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Jhon Rabelo made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fernando Souza came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by S.C.PAULISTA's Rogério Sampaio. But to his dismay, Rogério Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to S.C.PAULISTA getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rogério Sampaio hit a great ball. With his leg Alessandro de Souza managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when U18 Cruzeiro's Jhon Rabelo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of U18 Cruzeiro booed when S.C.PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's Rogério Sampaio got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, S.C.PAULISTA's Acácio Alves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fernando Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 76th minute of the game José Pedro Duarte made a throw-in which Rogério Sampaio played forward. After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's Acácio Alves got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Alessandro de Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jhon Rabelo in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, U18 Cruzeiro's Toninho Sanches got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the S.C.PAULISTA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
