When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Cacá Pimenta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ivo Leão to make any attempt to save it. In the 10th minute, Léo Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcinho Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ivo Leão made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Ivo Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacá Pimenta. In the 14th minute, Enio Silveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivo Leão. The goal made the score 2-0. Cacá Pimenta scored 3-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivo Leão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Felippe Zanette dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivo Leão, 4-0. Ivo Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcinho Negri in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Silveira came free, but Ivo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcinho Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ivo Leão made a huge save. Ivo Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacá Pimenta went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when Dragões Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Felippe Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mamutes EC and the Dragões Barbudos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Mamutes EC got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Zanette. Natã Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enio Silveira was the one to do the kick off. Ivo Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacá Pimenta went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Pimenta in the 57th minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Ivo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dragões Barbudos FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alberto de Castro hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Dragões Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Xavier. Dragões Barbudos FC's Ivo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Negri in the 66th minute of play. Mamutes EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Alberto de Castro scored to the left of an out of position Rafael Godoi, making the score, 6-1. Ivo Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Zanette in the 73rd minute of the match. After 77 minutes of play Mamutes EC's Felippe Zanette was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Felippe Zanette hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Enio Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ivo Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Pimenta in the 81st minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Ivo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mamutes EC's Enio Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivo Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Cacá Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ivo Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mamutes EC had played much better football throughout.
