An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Lago in the 11th minute of play forced Compugraf's goalkeeper Wilton Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Febre Amarela's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Prata came free, but Hortêncio Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Silas Prata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Febre Amarela's Hortêncio Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adil Vavasseur charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adil Vavasseur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Compugraf booed when Febre Amarela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adil Vavasseur didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário França in the 25th minute of play forced Febre Amarela's goalkeeper Hortêncio Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Silas Prata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Febre Amarela's Hortêncio Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 minutes, Silas Prata made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Febre Amarela's Hortêncio Figueiredo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Silas Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lenílson Palmeira to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Silas Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Compugraf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Febre Amarela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Silas Prata scored to the left of an out of position Hortêncio Figueiredo, making the score, 1-2. 61 minutes into the game, Lenílson Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Febre Amarela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Compugraf the free kick. A collision led to Febre Amarela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lenílson Palmeira hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Compugraf's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Palmeira came free, but Wilton Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Compugraf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Arce to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Compugraf's Silas Prata was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Hélio Sergipano hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Silas Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
