An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Félix in the 6th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adilson Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Adilson Meira made a precise shot to the right of Froilan Dolcet. Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th minute Dudu Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Dante came free, but Froilan Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Senna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dudu Pinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Válbson Silva got a free kick in the 28th minute. Jarbas Correia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Froilan Dolcet. Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Ernesto Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Dolcet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Sanches's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Dedé Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Leonel Sanches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Dolcet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dedé Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Félix, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Dedé Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Dante in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Tande. Oséias Severo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ernesto Dante might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Dolcet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Dante ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the game, Leonel Sanches cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Froilan Dolcet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Pinho came free, but Diamantino Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Yan Falcão. Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Félix in the 83rd minute of play. André Luís Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Froilan Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Válbson Silva got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Ernesto Dante got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 94 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Pinho came free, but Diamantino Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luís Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
