The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Brito was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Brito in the 52nd minute of play forced Carrapichel da shopee FC's goalkeeper Willian Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cipriano Valadares hit a great ball. Montevideo's Oleg Timofeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Alcântara in the 64th minute of play. Toninho Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Timofeev having to interfere. In the 68th minute of the match, Durval Campidelis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oleg Timofeev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Willian Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Brito in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Alcântara came free, but Oleg Timofeev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Montevideo's Oleg Timofeev got control of the ball when Toninho Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line.
