Oleg Timofeev was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Romeu Prado. During the 16th minute of the match Leandro Brito completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leandro Brito a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. LauerArmy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo the free kick. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LauerArmy reached it. Oleg Timofeev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Jardel in the 55th minute of play. Oleg Timofeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Paulo Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Timofeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Jardel in the 65th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Oleg Timofeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Angelo Teixeira made a precise shot to the right of Oleg Timofeev. Montevideo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 79 minutes into the game, Samuca dos Santos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paulo Jardel scored 4-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oleg Timofeev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Teixeira in the 90th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Oleg Timofeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montevideo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LauerArmy.
