Maurício Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Čech having to interfere. Matias Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Brito in the 21st minute of the match. Reynaldo Velasco made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Grzegorz Czerwinski sent off a good shot on target. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Reynaldo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE from getting a goal against them. Carlos Fernando Pimenta took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Velasco. Reynaldo Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Reynaldo Velasco was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Carlos Fernando Pimenta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Fernando Pimenta really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 43 played minutes Virgílio Secco shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Reynaldo Velasco to catch but Virgílio Secco was lucky. It became 4-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Reynaldo Velasco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fábio Ferreira to make the kick off. Grzegorz Czerwinski scored 8-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TaTeRo Boys fans cheered their team off the field, for while E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
