Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patricio Jurgi started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Nestor Abecia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Batán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrerillo Azuleño the free kick. The supporters of AC Batán booed when Potrerillo Azuleño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Rojelio in the 13th minute of play. Aldo Ixaka struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Feliberto Maraman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrerillo Azuleño. In the 16th minute, Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Iratzeder hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Potrerillo Azuleño's Aldo Ixaka ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Feliberto Maraman. Feliberto Maraman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Leopoldo Iratzeder hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Jaizki got free with Feliberto Maraman in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelio Claude showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés in the 37th minute of the match. The AC Batán fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when AC Batán's Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd minute, Isaac Rojelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Jurgi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Leopoldo Iratzeder hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Jaizki to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Potrerillo Azuleño's zone, Isaac Rojelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Claude came out of the goal and Isaac Rojelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Potrerillo Azuleño's Aurelio Claude proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Potrerillo Azuleño from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, Potrerillo Azuleño's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Jurgi came free, but Aurelio Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Potrerillo Azuleño's Nicanor Jaizki in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Batán's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, AC Batán's Nestor Abecia got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC Batán's zone, Nicanor Jaizki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Maraman came out of the goal and Nicanor Jaizki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, AC Batán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Sayvion to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Sayvion hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Isaac Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Jurgi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Feliberto Maraman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Ixaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Jaizki in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Maraman saved AC Batán from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Patricio Jurgi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelio Claude, 1-2. Isaac Rojelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Potrerillo Azuleño's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. When the final whistle sounded AC Batán left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Potrerillo Azuleño.
